Our resident PGA Professional Alan Logan has been fully qualified with the Professional Golfers Association since 1994. Alan has been the Head Professional here at Cochrane Castle since May 2001 and is also a member of Tartan Golf International (T.G.I.) which is one of the largest buying groups in Europe for Golf Professionals. Being a member of T.G.I. allows Alan the ability to compete – and often better – internet prices without compromising on the level of service. Buying from a P.G.A. Professional gives you the peace of mind that, not only are the products genuine, but they will have been recommended by a fully qualified member of staff.

Alan has a fully stocked shop and specialises in only the finest golf brands available on the market, including golf clubs, golf shoes, golf bags and apparel. Alan is a Nike Staff Ambassador and stocks all major brands including Nike, Mizuno, Taylormade, Titleist, Footjoy, Benross, Galvin Green and Lyle & Scott.

Alan specialises in custom fitting and have invested this season in the Mizuno Swing DNA equipment which allows him to have a Mizuno fitting centre account, he also custom fits in Nike, Taylormade and Benross and highly recommends custom fitting to all members and visitors when buying new clubs.

Tuition

With 20 years of experience in coaching our Professional Alan Logan is dedicated in simplifying the game of golf to make the game more enjoyable and fun to all levels of golfer – from beginners, ladies, juniors, county players, members and non members. Our Professional Staff are available for coaching and our practice facility here at Cochrane Castle is ideal for all levels of player. We also have a fantastic short game area which is perfect if you want to work on your pitching, bunker play or putting.
